Our hearts ache.

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Dr. Ramon Murphy passed away this week. He was a healer, mentor, friend, advocate, and visionary. He believed that EVERYONE should have access to the best possible care, irrespective of socioeconomic status, ethnicity, or nationality. If aliens arrived on our planet, Ramon would find a way to care for their children. He taught us so much about what it means to be not just a wonderful pediatric physician, but how to push ourselves to be the best possible HUMAN BEINGS. He believed in each and every one of us and gave us the confidence to believe in ourselves. It is because of his light and shared passion that the Manos de Ramon Foundation was born. And it is because of him that we will continue to carry out our mission, with more fervor and dedication than ever. Ramon, your legacy will continue in each person you touched and each hand you have held. I know you are looking down on us and continue to encourage us from your place of rest. Thank you for your wisdom, kindness, and never-ending support. We will miss you more than words can express, but continue to carry you in our hearts always.
